Whether or not you're able to join us, I wanted to tell you how sincerely proud I am of this entire campaign. 

When I first entered this race, so many critics tried to discourage me and tell me what a long shot it would be.

They were right that it wouldn't be easy. This has by far been one of the most challenging endeavors that I’ve ever pursued.

I’m not a career politician or well-connected public figure. And I knew I’d be up against a Republican incumbent who has billionaire corporate PACs funding his campaign and the Trump family propping him up.

But although I knew it would be difficult, I had to take action. The people of our district have been misled and disappointed by Pete Stauber for far too long.

Minnesota’s 8th District deserves a representative who will fight for working families and the underserved — someone who lifts up the voices of everyday people and who won’t back down to partisan bullies. Someone who will always prioritize the issues that matter most to Minnesotans.

In October, I traveled to every county in the district to truly connect with the people of MN-08. I spoke with people about issues like healthcare, the climate crisis, labor rights, small businesses, equal rights, and so much more.

From the start, I've committed to running a campaign the right way: no shortcuts, no partisan games, no dirty tricks. I know that large checks come with strings, and that’s why I refuse to take a dime of corporate PAC money.

And I'm so grateful that you’ve stood with me every step of the way.

This is truly a grassroots campaign that is powered by people. Not only are you the ones who have funded every dollar our campaign has spent, but you are also what powers and motivates me — because I’m running to fight for you in Congress.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. To everyone who donated. To everyone who told their friends and family about our campaign. To everyone who reached out. To everyone who volunteered. And to every single one of you who voted.

You all helped build an incredible movement, and I'm so proud to be part of it.

I’m in awe of the passion and commitment you've demonstrated during this race. You all have given me such hope for our future.
