Folks, this election is almost over -- and I know in my heart that we did everything in our power to win it.

While we wait for the election results to come in, I wanted to thank each and everyone one of you for believing in this campaign.

I couldn't have done this without you. No matter how you've supported this historic campaign -- whether signing petitions, volunteering, taking surveys, donating money, or simply following along -- I appreciate you.

Together we've shown what a political campaign should be -- an inclusive, uplifting movement with the overarching goal of helping our community.

I'm so proud of what we've accomplished, and I'm excited to see our hard work translate into election results.

Folks, we know that we likely won't have the final results tonight. That's normal. But you can rest assured that my team and I will do everything in our power to ensure every single vote is counted and that the will of the people is heard.

I hope you're able to connect with friends or family tonight. As for me, I'm going to play Monopoly with my fiancé as we watch the election results come in -- and continue to feel the utmost gratitude for every single person reading this.
