You did this.

4 years ago, I reeled from a loss no one expected. I felt anguish, fear, and pain. I felt that I, along with so many folks like you & me, John, hadn’t done enough. I hadn’t worked enough. I hadn’t given enough.

Then, over time, I had an idea––Open Progress Text Troop. What if we built a community of volunteers from across the country, dedicated to doing, working, and giving their all to hear voters, to persuade voters, and to mobilize voters?

That idea became a reality––and it has surpassed my wildest dreams. Tonight, the little idea that was born in my apartment has evolved into a nationwide volunteer community of over 8,000 volunteers who have poured their souls into this fight.

Tonight, I’m asking you to believe in those volunteers, in our small and mighty staff, and in the work we’ve done, and the work we’ll do. Power the team that has sent 24,588,222 texts to 15,491,230 voters just since October 1st »
POWER OUR PROGRESS. CHIP IN TODAY » ([link removed])

That idea in my apartment 4 years ago turned into over 40 million texts sent by volunteers over the last year alone. We’re already thinking up ideas for 2021 & beyond, and we need you to help us make those ideas reality. You could be the reason for progressive change across America––through listening, through persuasion, and through mobilization.

Join us. Join our movement. Power our work. I’m counting on you tonight to chip in whatever you can––$5, $10, $25––no amount is too small. ([link removed])

We couldn’t be prouder of this chapter. We’re counting on you, John, to help us write our next.

LFG, you & me,
Elizabeth Haynes
