Friend, 

 

Today is the day we have been working for — and tonight is the night we will, hopefully, know the results of all that work.

 

But one thing I know already: #TeamLizzie is an incredible coalition of people who are working to make our world better for all of us, and I am so privileged and honored to be a part of it.

 

This campaign has always been about doing what’s right for all of us, about bringing our values to the Congress to help our community and our country thrive.

 

So, as the polls close on this historic day, I want to thank you for all you have done for me personally and for this campaign.  From making phone calls, sending texts, and dropping door hangers to writing checks and clicking “contribute” all the times we’ve asked, you have made it possible for this campaign to be the best it could be.

 

While we don’t yet know the results of the election, I know right now how lucky I am to have you and everyone on #TeamLizzie.  

 

And I know that, together, we can do anything,
