The people who orchestrated Trump’s ban on our families, who supported illegal detentions of Iranian Americans at the border, and who cheered Trump’s threats to bomb Iranian cultural sites are scared. They don’t want us to have a seat back at the table. And they see the political power NIAC and the Iranian-American community are building.
Today Breitbart went on the attack because we have bundled hundreds-of-thousands of dollars to beat Trump, flip the Senate, and elect a record number of Iranian Americans in state and local offices.
[[link removed]] Yesterday it was the far-right Frontpage Magazine attacking us as "Islamic terrorists" who noted, "NIAC Action endorsed Biden and appears to have raised a lot of money for him. What does NIAC expect in return? In its official endorsement, NIAC claimed that Biden had made an "ironclad commitment" to return to the Iran Deal.”
And on and on.
They’re scared of the political power we’re building. But instead of getting involved in the pointless back and forths or resorting to the smears and scare tactics, we’re doing something more important: building more power.
All day today, NIAC Action volunteers have been on the phones calling voters and providing information to ensure everyone can cast their ballot. Over the course of the election they’ve helped register and set up voting plans for thousands of Iranian-American voters. They’ve called and texted tens-of-thousands of voters in swing states. Meanwhile, our donors have contributed in every major Senate battleground to flip the chamber. And they’ve supported the record number of Iranian Americans on the ballot.
We are going to win and we aren’t going to stop building power for our community. But we can’t do it without your support.
