How are you doing?

Dear John,

How are you? What's on your heart right now?

This time is heavy. We're here to carry the weight with you. It can be easy to forget that our collective strength and creativity go beyond Election Day. Our commitment to one another is what will free us, no matter who is in office.

We are here to remind you of your power. We won't let up on the pressure we’ve built. We will use every strategy we can to defund and abolish police, and to decriminalize our communities — Black people, trans people, sex workers, migrants, people living with HIV, people living with disabilities, people who are at the intersection of all of these experiences.

To breathe life into the future we deserve, on Thursday from 5-7 pm ET/2-4 pm PT, we invite you to join us for A Grounding and Healing Space: Holding Our Community Close After the Election.

Our virtual gathering on Facebook Live will focus on providing us resources to navigate this moment. Guests include:

We will have Spanish language and ASL interpretation, as well as CART captioning. If you have any questions for our speakers, a team of TLC staff will be monitoring the comments.

Until then, for some nourishment check out #LoveLetterstoTransPeople on Twitter. This letter brightened our day: “Dear Trans and NonBinary people, You are valid. You are whole. You are loved. You are needed. You are enough.”

With love,

Kris and the TLC team
