Hey John,

So, this is it.

Polls close in Iowa at 9 p.m. CT. So, we've got about 5 hours left until the outcome of this race is out of our control. But before I ask for your help one last time, I wanted to tell you that I'm so proud of what we've accomplished together.

I drove to each and every town in our district (374 to be exact) and I met so many incredible people. I learned so much about our history, about the issues folks are facing and what I can do to tackle them, and how I can make their hopes for the future a reality.

But even though my name is on the ballot, all of you got me here and have given me strength and hope along the way.

This entire movement has been grassroots-funded from the get-go and I'm so proud to say that I've never taken a dime from corporations. Every gallon of gas in Sioux City Sue was paid for by working people. Every piece of mail we sent to farmers and working families was paid for by grassroots donors. And every ad, text, and phone call that voters saw was possible because of the help of folks like you.

Despite taking the harder road to get to Congress, we're giving Randy Feenstra's corporate donors a run for their money -- and we're within reach of winning this election tonight.

But we're anticipating very close results, and we want to be prepared for a recount if it comes to it. So, if you can, chip in $5 one last time to help me finish this race as strong as we started it. And when we win, I'll be sure to live up to all my promises.
