By the time in-person early voting ended Saturday in Virginia, Republicans appeared to have narrowed the gap in absentee voting, according to party-affiliation projections from L2 Political.

The data estimates that voters who fit the profile of Democrats still hold an overall 2:1 advantage among early voters whose partisan lean could be projected. This visual ([link removed]) also looks at the age and gender of Virginia's 2.7 million early voters.
