This is our chance to make history — to make sure our government truly represents the communities they serve, that the most vulnerable among us will no longer be left behind.

It’s true: A lot rests on our shoulders today.

But no matter the cost, we must rise to the occasion — because healthcare is on the line. Voting rights are the line. Justice, integrity, countless lives, and the soul of our nation are on the line. And it is up to us to defend our democracy and the values we hold dear.

Our progressive movement is strong. I’m proud of everything we’ve overcome to get to this day.
