As the UK heads into another national lockdown, it's never been so clear that privatised track and trace isn't working. On Wednesday MPs will vote on the lockdown bill - email them today to ask them to scrap Serco's track and trace contracts; give every penny back to our excellent public health teams instead.

Please take the fight for safe public track and trace to the next level by emailing your MP, ESPECIALLY if you have a conservative MP.

No matter where you are, we need you to take action to get private companies out of track and trace, and send the message loud and clear:

We don't want private companies running our health services!

Either ask your MP to speak out at Wednesday's 4th vote in England, stop creeping private companies in Scotland, or take solidarity action in Northern Ireland and Wales today.

Can you take 5 minutes to let your MP know how much you care about getting safe track and trace in public hands across the UK? It's our only way out of lockdown.

Even Jeremy Hunt, said yesterday: “This is the moment to recognise the uncomfortable truth that this would be better done locally and giving it to local authorities to take the ultimate responsibility."

This is huge. As the Health Secretary before Matt Hancock, it shows important MPs within the government's party are starting to make our calls.

There's a clear solution and MPs need to make this happen for YOU: they should be scrapping ALL private companies and asking them to give every penny back to public health teams.

They're the ones who have been mopping up the private companies' failures, reaching far more contacts, as well as supporting people to self isolate.

These next 24 hours are key, and we are going to need all of you with us, saying loud and clear: now we have to scrap private companies from track and trace.

Together, taking action, we can make sure we keep communities safe and get out of lockdown on repeat, so we're not in the same place in four months time.
