Friend, Earlier this month, two principled veterans came together to tackle one of the country's most important and challenging issues: Immigration. Congressman Don Bacon, a Republican from Nebraska, and Congressman Jason Crow, a Democrat from Colorado, traveled together to the southern border to see conditions at a detention center firsthand and conduct border operation oversight. We have said over and over that by electing principled veterans to Congress, we can make our system work again. Now, our work to bring veterans of both parties together is having a direct impact. Both Congressman Bacon and Congressman Crow want to find areas of agreement to get Congress working. Congressman Bacon explains: "We're working together because we want [to] find a reason for agreement and not a reason we're divided. He's in the Army and I was in the Air Force and that's what brought us together."
