Register if you’re not already registered
If you haven’t registered to vote yet, it might not be too late. The following states (plus DC) offer same-day voter registration: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Protect your right to vote
If you or anyone you know runs into any problems while voting (e.g. turned away at the polls, long lines, voting machines malfunction) or have any questions (e.g. Where do I vote? Do I need ID to vote?), you can call the non-partisan Election Protection Hotline:
