Happy Election Day! I invite you to take a closer look at my article regarding HJR4 that will be on the back of you ballot.

Hello Fellow Freedom Fighter,

My name is Lindsey Zea. I am a Policy and Research associate at the Madison Liberty Institute. Today is a big day for Idaho and our nation! Today we all have an amazing opportunity to exercise our right to vote. Voting is a fundamental right that has been secured to us by our inspired Constitution and is an opportunity for us, as citizens, to have a voice in what happens in our country, state, and local communities. As citizens in Idaho, the Madison Liberty Institute encourages you to exercise this fundamental right and share your voice.

As you go out to vote for your favorite candidate, I wanted to bring a question on the back of the Idaho 2020 general election ballot to your attention– HJR4. This question will ask you whether you think the Idaho Constitution should be amended to lock the number of Idaho legislative districts and senators at 35. Since there is bipartisan support as well as bipartisan opposition to this amendment (a rare occurrence in today’s polarized politics), you may want to take an in-depth look at this issue before you cast your ballot at the polls today. To help you take a closer look at HJR4, I've put together a brief overview ([link removed]) of the pros and cons of the proposed amendment which I've included below (#Article) .

I hope my research will help you easily be ready and informed as you hit the polls today. For more information about voting in your area, contact your local county clerk's office ([link removed]) . Today, the polls are open from 8 AM to 8 PM with some counties even opened at 7 AM.

Happy Election day,
