Dear John,
After nearly four dark years under Donald Trump, Election Day is finally here. For everyone who has voted or will be voting today, your voice has never been more important. America faces a difficult test today, and emotions are running high as stories emerge about election interference, voter disenfranchisement, and Trump himself undermining confidence in our system. But today is the day we finally have the opportunity to set things right and kick this man out of the White House for good.
As we await the results, it's important not to jump to conclusions, no matter what Trump, Twitter, or the pundits say. Jamal posted on what we will be watching for this election night and which states and races to pay attention to. We may not know the outcome for days to come, and the next few weeks could be unlike anything this country has ever seen.
Regardless of what happens next, the team here at NIAC will be hard at work to protect our rights as Americans to participate in civic and political life.

If you're voting in person, find your polling place here. If you haven't turned-in your mail-in-ballot, then make sure to find a nearby dropbox and hand-deliver your ballot! There is no guarantee that a ballot mailed-in today will be counted.

We decided to open up the internal document our staff will be using to track the election results so that our members can follow along in real time. We'll be adding results from key House and Senate races as well as from state and local elections that have Iranian-American candidates running.
