Well, Election Day is finally here. 

Thank you for everything you have already done to protect our democracy
during this difficult time. We have gone through so much together this
campaign season.

But the fight is not over yet. 

It’s likely we won’t have a winner tonight — it may take days or even
weeks for states to properly count the number of mail-in ballots needed to
conduct a COVID-safe election. And it is up to us to protect the results
and the sanctity of our electoral process.

Here is what you can do today, John, to help make sure that
every vote is counted:

* If you or someone you know encounters problems voting today, call the
nonpartisan Election Protection Legal Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE
(866-687-8683). You can find the phone numbers for [ [link removed] ]hotlines in 10
different languages here. 

* Don’t rely on your Facebook feed or television pundits to get
information about election results. [ [link removed] ]Get your election info from the
Election Night Integrity Project, which uses Associated Press data,
and is considered the most trustworthy source for election night
results.    


* [ [link removed] ]Sign up to join an event in your community tomorrow to demand that
all the votes are counted and the election results are accepted.


More people are turning out to vote in this election than ever before. Our
job now is to make sure that every single one of these votes is counted,
and that the will of the people is upheld.
