Over the past years, we've witnessed and experienced the erosion of our democracy. From gerrymandering to voter suppression to the actions of our current president, Republicans have systematically undermined the principles, norms, and foundation of our elections and our democracy.

That can all change with this election. This is our moment to hold them accountable--to reclaim and restore our democracy for the next generation.

Since our launch in 2017, we've been at the forefront of the fight to win back key GOP-held state legislatures that are the most powerful points of leverage to unwind Republican power in our country. By breaking up GOP trifectas, we can put a check on Republican power and put the brakes on the gerrymandering and voter suppression of the future. We've spent every dollar the past three years to win the small sliver of key state legislative races that can deliver Democratic majorities in these key state house chambers ahead of the 2021 redistricting process.

Our target states--Texas, Florida, Arizona and North Carolina--are all set to gain congressional seats as a result of the census. More than 82 congressional seats are on the line across them. These states have seen some of the GOP's worst voter suppression as Republicans desperately attempt to cling onto power--turning millions of Americans away from the polls, especially people of color and historically marginalized populations.

There's no doubt that Trump and Republicans will continue to fight tooth and nail to distort our democracy and undermine the results of this election, but we won't stop fighting too.
