[link removed] [[link removed]] [link removed] [[link removed]] Today is Election Day. We are nervous, but hopeful.

There is so much on the line for our communities as we await the results of this momentous election, while simultaneously navigating a global pandemic, looming economic crisis, and nationwide discussions about and uprisings against racism and police brutality. The high stakes are exactly why we created our “ We Will Not Be Muted [[link removed]] ” campaign. We wanted - needed - to mobilize progessive leaders, especially Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC), as we closed in on the election. As part of this initiative we launched:

- An election-focused public training series for campaign practitioners, organizers, and organizations focused on community organizing, political campaigning, voter protection, and voter outreach. 75% of participants identified as BIPOC and 65% of them identified as women/femme/gender non-conforming and BIPOC.

- Our first ever Advanced Leadership for Women of Color Cohort. The cohort is a learning space built by and for women of color to further develop their leadership skills and build community so they’ll be ready to lead post-election issue organizing and legislative advocacy.

- A free public Digital Safety and Security training series designed to keep progresive organizations, organizers, and activists safe as they take direct action to protect the results in the days and weeks after the election. We've made those recordings public, and you can watch them here. [[link removed]]
.

While our recent trainings have been focused on the election, we want to be clear: re:power is here to build movements that withstand the cycles of elections and the ebbs and flows of media coverage . And while we may wake up tomorrow entangled in post-election uncertainty, we will not be moved from our goal of supporting progressive organizers and electeds creating the blueprint for change that we all need and deserve.

Show your commitment to the progressive movement, beyond the election cycle. Make a donation today -- to invest in the best and brightest activists and organizers who are on the frontlines of creating a future for all of us, not just some of us [[link removed]] . And remember, no matter what happens today, there is still much work to be done.

We're in this together. For too long, the voices of people of color, specifically women of color, have been muted by America’s leadership. No more. Our voices, lived experiences, perspectives, ideas and leadership matter and must be elevated. We Will Not Be Muted.
