America is good and worth protecting.

I've known that since I was a young boy - learning how to live without my mother, getting lost in the campy and exciting Navy SEAL stories of Dick Marcinko, and discovering that my purpose in life would be to defend our great nation.

That purpose took me through five tours overseas, a life-altering injury, and then it brought me back home - to serve the constituents of Texas' 2nd District.

I would not have made it through this long journey without knowing that truth - America is good and worth protecting.

On this Election Day, I hope you will remind your friends and neighbors of that truth.

Tell them to keep America - and Texas - free and prosperous. Vote Republican. And remember the down ballot races across the country that could be decided by a few votes. Go out today and make a difference.

Protect America - its founding principles, its freedoms, and the way of life we so cherish as citizens of the greatest country on earth.
