Thank you for making history for the Chocó with us!
Our partner Fundación Jocotoco says ‘gracias’ to #SaveTheChocó donors in new video.

Two weeks on, we continue to be amazed by your generosity – the show of support that made our ‘Saving Ecuador’s Chocó Forest’ appeal raise its initial target before our Big Match Fortnight had even finished.

Last week, Fundación Jocotoco – the Ecuadorian partner who will purchase and protect tracts of these threatened forests with support from the appeal – thanked WLT donors for their support in a new video.

Thanks to you, we can now go even further to save this natural wonder than we thought possible. But that’s not all you have achieved this month: beyond the Chocó, your donations to our Action Fund and Keepers of the Wild programmes have delivered new conservation wins. Read on below!

From us and our partners – thank you, gracias!

#OurReasonsForNature: A new series about the wildlife that inspires WLT people

Nature is the reason for all those who work at WLT and for the next few months we will be sharing with you what brought us to conservation, and what keeps us going as we save land to save species

Launched in October, #OurReasonsForNature has so far seen CEO Dr Jonathan Barnard, Conservation Programmes Officer Gwynne Braidwood and Communications Officer Alice Wojcik talk about their favourite species – stay tuned to read about others in WLT in new instalments every week.

We’d also love to hear from you, the supporters who make our conservation victories possible. What are your own reasons for nature? Share your stories and pictures on social media under the #OurReasonsForNature hashtag!
