Good morning John,

Today is Election Day! That means today’s your last chance to vote and show up in support of LGBTQ+ youth.

We’ve got a handy tool to help you with that: Look up where to vote today, learn who is on your ballot, or pledge to vote if you’re under 18.

Voting this year is about showing our resilience. Join more than 90 million people across the country who have cast their ballots. It’s amazing that more than 7 million young people have voted early or absentee and thousands of high school students are volunteering as poll workers, caring for our collective safety amidst the pandemic. Be sure to wear a mask and stay safely distanced from other voters. If you see voter intimidation at the polls, report it to Election Protection.

This is a true mark of what it means to #RespectYourVote -- and we commend all voters who are putting in the time to exercise and celebrate your right to vote.

If you haven’t already, vote today for candidates and measures that help create safer environments for LGBTQ+ students. Look up what’s on your ballot now.

You’ve been part of GLSEN’s thirty year history making school environments safer for all LGBTQ+ students. Voting today is one crucial way to continue paving that path for young LGBTQ+ people. Your vote empowers local, state, and federal candidates to make our vision of safer schools for all LGBTQ+ students a reality.

Share this message far and wide today! Text five people you love and tell them to visit glsen.org/vote -- they can look up where to vote and ballots for every state.

We hope like many voters, you’ll agree to wait as long as it takes to cast your ballot.

It will take patience from us all to await results and ballot counts across the country this week, but here’s one thing we know: It’s not over until it’s over. We’ve got a vision -- and a long way to go -- to realize safety for LGBTQ+ young people. We’re here to stay in the fight with you.

Happy voting today!
