John,
Today is Election Day in one of the most consequential elections in the history of the United States. It is hard to imagine a more critical election in our lifetimes.
If you haven't voted, click here to find your polling place, and click here to learn how people can register to vote on Election Day.
If you have voted: Thank you! You and millions of people throughout our country are joining together and voting for our shared priorities. We’re voting for priorities that will ensure vulnerable people throughout our country are never forgotten.
But just because you voted doesn't mean that your work for Election Day is over! Pick up the phone, call friends and family members in battleground states. Know someone in Florida? Give them a ring. Have a cousin in Ohio? Give them a quick call, too.
Tell them how important it is to elect leaders who will fight for the sick, the poor and vulnerable people throughout our country―and who will act to reduce their numbers.
Many people throughout our country, particularly those who don't live in one of a handful of swing states, are wondering what they can do in the midst of the most consequential election in our lifetimes. Volunteering is a powerful way to ensure those who can vote are able to do so safely and fairly.
You can still help Get Out the Vote in battleground states or even help out at the polls. Click here to find a volunteer activity near you.
Or, help voters by ensuring people who are stuck waiting in long voting lines have some food to eat. Click here to donate to food trucks, which are feeding hungry voters.
Thanks to your hard work and dedication, we’re in the midst of an election with record-setting voter participation. This is good for our democracy and good for the issues that we’re fighting for every day.
Thank you for all you do to ensure every eligible voter gets out to vote and thank you for fighting for vulnerable people throughout our country.
