We made it to November 3rd. Today is the last chance to vote out Donald Trump, flip the Senate, and reclaim our democracy.
First thing’s first: Make sure you know where your designated polling location is and make your plan to get there. Nothing is more frustrating than going to the wrong place and having to turn right back around. When you head out to vote in person, bring your mask and any required documents you might need (in many states, you’ll need a photo ID).

As you participate in our democracy, it’s important to know that you have rights to protect you and your vote. Here’s what you need to know:
*You have the right to stay in line. If you are still waiting in line to vote when the polls close, don’t leave! You’ll be allowed to enter your polling place and cast your ballot.
*You have the right to privately cast your ballot without interference. It’s illegal for anyone to stop you from casting your ballot -- whether they attempt to physically block you from your polling place; threaten, taunt, or try to bribe you; impersonate poll workers; or tell you that you don’t meet the requirements to cast a ballot.
*You have the right to a paper ballot. Under no circumstance should broken voting machines stop you from voting. If technical difficulties occur at your polling place, ask for a paper ballot.
*You have the right to a replacement ballot. If you discover that you made a mistake on your ballot or wish to change your ballot choices, you should immediately ask a poll worker for a new ballot.
*You have the right to an accessible polling place. In accordance with federal law, all polling places must be accessible for elderly voters and voters with disabilities, including access to ADA-compliant voting devices. If your polling place is not accessible, voters must be provided with an alternative means of voting.
*You have the right to receive in-person assistance. If you’re a voter with a disability or have difficulty speaking, reading, or writing in English, you have a right under federal law to receive in-person assistance at the polls. If you need assistance, you can ask anyone to assist you, as long as they’re not your employer.
If any of your rights are violated when you go to vote or if you have any questions while you’re at the polls, call the Voter Protection Hotline at 1-833-DEM-VOTE (1-833-336-8683).
And remember, wear comfortable shoes and bring layers for the cold or sun protection for the heat. If you’re going to be spending time in line and outside, let’s make sure you're comfortable!
Casting your ballot is a powerful thing and we want you to do it with confidence, knowing you’re protected. This election cycle has had an unprecedented show of early voting. Now, it’s time for you to join them in casting your ballot and making your voice heard today. Find your polling place now.
