This is it. The final push. I've put together a short 4 minute (yes, it's worth it) video update in the final stretch here. Check it out.
Only TWO Action Items left:
1. MAKE SURE TO VOTE and consult the only OFFICIAL Republican Voter Guide when you do. Visit our website for all the details and to find the polling places closest to you.
2. JOIN US ON ELECTION NIGHT, 7-11 pm in Mission Valley, for the ONLY in-person Watch Party in town. $25/pp. Come watch the results come in with our candidates.
We've expended an incredible amount of effort on behalf of our candidates this cycle. Here are some stats I'd like to share with you:
- 347,000 Official Republican Voter Guides sent in the mail to Republican households representing over 500,000 Republican voters
- Sent 748,502 texts (Yes, sorry about that - the texts will end tomorrow!)
- Made over 100,000 phone calls using up 53,838 minutes of phone time
- Spent over $500,000 on DIRECT support for our candidates, incl. Joel Anderson and Kristin Gaspar for Supervisor and Joe Leventhal and Noli Zosa for San Diego City Council
- Licensed i360 - a presidential level campaign tool - for our entire county, making it available to our candidates for 75% less than going direct, 26 of whom took us up on it,
- Deployed over 400 volunteers multiple weekends leading up to today
- Recruited 131 candidates to contest Democrats on the ballot who would have otherwise won by default
- We won 88 races by default when the Democrats failed to run someone against our candidates
- Operated a full-time HQ in Rancho Bernardo and a satellite HQ in East County
- Employed 4 full-time staff and 11 additional staff in the weeks leading up to today
Special thanks goes to our Executive Director Jordan Gascon for managing everything and my fellow officers, First Vice Chair Barrett Tetlow, Second Vice Chair Paula Whitsell, Treasurer Elizabeth Spillane, and Secretary Bud McLeroy for their leadership!
It's an honor to serve as Chairman and I look forward to lots of Republican victories tomorrow, from the President on down to our local offices!
