BREAKING! The election experts at The Cook Political Report just UPGRADED ratings for Democrats' chances to win control in the TEXAS State House. This comes in addition to earlier ratings upgrades in 8 state legislative chambers in states such as Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Michigan.

Facebook banned new political ads in the final days of the election to avoid disinformation. Hopefully, that blunts Trump (and Russia) last-minute disinformation. But for our candidates, it means they can keep running their pre-approved Get Out The Vote ads right through Election Day.

Can you donate to progressive champions so they can keep their Get Out The Vote ads up on Facebook until the end of the day on Nov 3? These candidates are in extremely competitive state legislative races, and many of them are working to flip red legislative chambers to blue -- including in TEXAS.

If progressives win back just a handful of state legislative seats, Democrats can take back power in multiple absolutely critical state legislative chambers. That can put a stop to Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression in those states.

And, it can lead to states adopting a $15 minimum wage, expanding healthcare, setting ambitious clean-energy goals, expanded childcare, and much more.

We’re coming down to the wire, and the Cook Report says many of these races will be neck-and-neck.

Every dollar these progressive champions spend to Get Out The Vote in their districts also helps Joe Biden and Democratic U.S. Senate candidates in some of the most contested battleground states in the country.

And, we’re electing future Democratic leaders (remember Illinois State Senator Barack Obama?) and making sure they’re progressives.
