As part of the Protect the Results coalition, we are rallying at Embarcadero Plaza (foot of Market St. across from the Ferry Building) to make sure every vote is counted, call on our leaders to protect the results, and ensure a peaceful transition, on Wednesday, November 4th, at 3 PM. This is a nonviolent, masked, socially-distanced rally. We will come together with speakers from community organizations, music, and chants, in order to prepare for the weeks ahead and for further mobilization if necessary. We expect the event to go until around 5 PM.
We are aware of the danger of COVID-19 transmission. We ask attendees to please wear a mask for the entire duration of this event, and to stay socially-distanced from other attendees. Please DO NOT attend if you are showing symptoms of illness or are positive for COVID-19.
Wear comfortable shoes, a shade hat/sunscreen, and bring water.
