With so much at stake, I wanted to reach out to you personally one last time before Election Day, friend.
As an organizer, I know that the most important thing we can do is build trust with voters by organizing from a place of love.
We organize from a place of love because we want our communities to get what they deserve — because we believe that compassion and empathy and courage are contagious, and hate is too big of a burden to bear.
And despite what Donald Trump might say, this election isn't about voting for ourselves. It isn't about just getting in that ballot box and thinking about you and what you might win or lose. It's about voting on behalf of our community, our society, our country, and most importantly, to restore our democracy.
Everything we believe in, from healthcare for all to clean air and water to a housing guarantee to a Democratic government where this progress is possible, is on the ballot. Far too many of us have felt the personal pain of this pandemic and have felt what it means to have a president and an administration that do not have an ounce of compassion for the lives that have been lost and will forever be changed like mine; for the lives that are economically devastated.
Our communities have suffered as we’ve watched every single piece of hateful, xenophobic rhetoric that the president has uttered since starting his campaign become part of his hateful policy agenda designed to hurt Black and Brown people, immigrants and refugees, Muslims, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
But we will not stand down in the face of hate and bigotry. We can win this election and restore not just hope, not just decency, not just empathy, not just compassion, but love.
We know we can win because our campaign’s progress-driven agenda has broken turnout records in the Fifth District before. We have shown what it looks like to organize from a place of love, and if we pull together, we can reach people — especially those who haven’t voted before — and turn out at least 300,000 voters to defeat Trump and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Minnesota. Our work has the power to keep Minnesota blue and reject Trump’s hate once and for all.
Will you help us defeat Trump and the GOP by donating your first donation of $5 to fuel our organizing efforts? I mean it when I say every dollar matters when it comes to reaching voters in these final hours.

Thank you for powering our movement progress. Your generosity has never gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
