Washington Post: “Key swing states that may well decide the presidential race are recording some of the nation’s most erratic mail service as record numbers of Americans are relying on the U.S. Postal Service to deliver their ballots, agency data shows.”
This is terrible news -- ballots might not be counted by Election Day, and it’s because of GOP electioneering. It’s clear that Trump will use this development to try to steal the presidency.
We had a major win against GOP tyranny when a federal judge ruled that Louis DeJoy’s destructive changes to USPS must be reversed immediately. And this was in addition to reports of postal workers taking the initiative to counteract their higher-ups and their “cost-cutting” measures.
But DeJoy -- and Republicans -- will continue to do everything they can to get their way. We know that there’s no line that they won’t cross. Friend, we desperately need your input to put an end to this.
There’s still time to ensure our mail ballots are secure, but it’s up to us to put pressure on the government to preserve the integrity of this election. Too much is at stake to fumble our chance at a blue wave tomorrow. That’s why we’re reaching out to you now, to demand our officials finish the job:
