* Starting this Friday, September 20th, there will be Climate Strikes around the world. Go to the National website here ([link removed]) , scroll down and enter your zip code to find one near you, or type in New Jersey to find all the ones in the state (too many to list here!). Or if you can't find one near you, use their resources to find out how to organize one yourself! ([link removed]) (please be patient with the website - there has been a huge interest and people around the world are logging in, so it can be a bit slow).

** Good News in New Jersey

* Congratulations to LD 26 candidates Christine Clarke ([link removed]) and Laura Fortgang
([link removed]) , for their endorsement by Clean Water Action! ([link removed])
* While it's sad this isn't the case in every state, we're still proud to hear the news - " ([link removed]) New Jersey first in nation to give all students access to arts education in public schools" ([link removed])
* New Jersey will now require gun manufacturers to do more for gun safety, or else the state will not do business with them anymore ([link removed]) . Since NJ spends upwards of 70 million yearly on guns, it's not an idle threat.
* Despite the large Indian population in New Jersey, Governor Murphy is the first NJ Governor to visit India ([link removed]) . During the trip he'll try to bring more investments and business back to New Jersey.
