Dear John,

In September, NIAC joined activists and organizations across the globe to screen Iranian-British director Amir Amirani’s documentary film, We Are Many, which tells the story of the biggest anti-war movement in history that led to 30 million people across 72 countries banding together to protest the United States and United Kingdom's plan to invade Iraq.

Now, with the growing threat of conflict with Iran and a historic presidential election in a year that has seen mass protests across the United States, the message and history of the film is more important than ever.

That's why we hope you'll join us on Tuesday, November 10th at 12pm PT/3pm ET to explore the film and the parallels in the buildup to Iraq that we see now with Iran. I'll be joining director Amir Amirani, Win Without War’s Kate Kizer, and Quincy Institute’s Eli Clifton to discuss the documentary's parallels to our current political situation.

RSVP

Best,

Assal Rad
