Friend, In 2018, a woman posed a question to me at a public town hall, saying “Our current representative does not respond to our questions, our calls, or our emails. How do we know that you will?” My answer then is the same as it is now. For the past 40 years, as a clinical social worker, I have been on call 24/7 for my clients. People experience trouble that can happen day or night, and my responsibility is to help them solve their important problems. My commitment as a representative remains the same. And my commitment as a candidate remains the same. I have been driven to do this work and to run in my home district by simple principles: improving people’s lives, restoring faith in our government through hard work and responsive leadership, and pursuing a New Deal for Rural America. That’s it.
