In the last six days, our “Saddle Up and Vote” bus tour has been greeted by crowds filled with Texans in 21 cities across the state. Folks are fired up by Sen. Cornyn’s support to confirm Justice Amy Coney Barrett, his promise to protect energy jobs in Texas, his call to defend the police (not defund them), and his vision for rebuilding our powerhouse economy.

 

Chuck Schumer and dark money special interest groups have poured nearly $34 million into MJ Hegar’s campaign. Silicon Valley billionaires have dumped $18 million into ads that distort the senator’s record. MJ Hegar is no Beto O’Rourke when it comes to name recognition or voter enthusiasm. Which begs the question: What’s the motive of all these outside groups pushing for MJ’s election?

 

Easy. MJ Hegar would be a rubber stamp for national Democrats in Washington. Consider the following:
