Dear ,

We're one day away from the Election and so much is at stake.

This November, there’s a critical race happening in Montana, for the Public Service Commission (PSC) District 4. We need to elect
Monica Tranel to the Public Service Commission.

Monica is only $4000 away from her final fundraising goal. Can you chip in $35 to help get her to the finish line?

Currently the PSC is an all-male, all-GOP group of climate deniers that has fallen asleep during public hearings and neglected their duty to Montanans. There have been only two women commissioners in the more than 100 year history of Montana’s PSC.

It’s time to change that - but we need to elect the right woman to that office: Monical Tranel.

Monica’s opponent, Jennifer Fielder, is a radical Republican and has been named an “anti-public lands extremist” for her work selling off public lands. As a sitting MT Legislator, she continues to peddle false and dangerous information - spreading falsehoods about COVID-19, as well as Antifa coming to Montana towns. She has connections with the Bundys and white nationalist groups, and has called for militia action at protests.

As a Montana Post article said, “
Jennifer Fielder is the one person in Montana who could make the Public Service Commission worse.

We cannot let this happen.

Fortunately, the right leader has stepped up at the right time to defeat Fielder and the radical right.

Monica Tranel grew up in eastern Montana with her nine siblings. After two decades of working as an attorney, fighting for you on the Montana Consumer Counsel, and for renewable energy development in rural Montana, she knew she couldn’t stand by the wayside.

Monica is running for Public Service Commission because she knows the industries the PSC regulates and knows that Montanans deserve fair rates.

We need you to
contribute to get Monica elected:
  • Monica Tranel has the experience we need on the PSC.  She’s an attorney with 20 years in the industry, representing renewable energy developers in private practice. She has also served as a staff attorney for the Montana Consumer Counsel and for the PSC.
  • Monica Tranel has the drive to get things done.  She is a two-time Olympic athlete (1996 and 2000) with an exceptional work ethic to accomplish her goals. As a lawyer, she has a reputation of being a fighter and coming up with solutions for her clients.
  • Monica Tranel understands what’s at stake.  Monica is running because, “When my kids grow up, I want to be able to tell them I did everything I could about climate change.”

We know that when women lead in the areas they know best, good things will happen for Montana. When Montanans rally behind strong women leaders - starting with Jeannette Rankin - we all win.

But no woman can do it alone. Behind every great woman leader is a community supporting her along the way.

Please
join us in being that community by supporting Monica Tranel for Public Service Commission

Contribution limits are $180, which means your support will go a long way in helping Monica win this seat.

Will you please
make a contribution to Monica’s campaign today?

We only have one day left to help Monica reach her fundraising goal. Together we can defeat the rising radical right.

Thank you,
