Dear John,
Tomorrow is the big day. If you haven’t submitted your absentee ballot, you should do so at a drop box or hand it to your clerk. Check your local rules first, because drop box locations and times vary across municipalities. If you’re voting in person tomorrow, you can still register at the polls. Just bring an ID.
This election will mark the culmination of years of work setting the foundation at the local level to help make progress in your community all the way to the presidency.
We owe you our gratitude for your support throughout the years, and especially during this unprecedented time in our history. The support you’ve offered through donations, volunteering, phonebanking, textbanking, attending online events, even just calling friends and neighbors to encourage them to vote – in other words, your commitment to making Wisconsin a healthier, cleaner, and more equitable place to live is inspiring and remarkable. We thank you.
This year has been a victory in and of itself. Arm in arm with you, we launched one of our most ambitious election campaigns in our organization’s history, focusing on 12 key legislative races that will ensure we protect Governor Evers’ veto pen, and our water, air, and land.
Highlights include:
- Made more than 68,686 CALLS TO VOTERS
- Sent more than 500,000 TEXTS TO VOTERS
- Mailed nearly 5,000 HANDWRITTEN POSTCARDS TO VOTERS
And thanks to the commitment and generosity of conservation voters like you, we’re running digital and radio ads and sending mail to voters to get the message out about our endorsed conservation champions. With your support, we’ve:
- Pushed out our digital ads more than 4.5 million times (and counting)
- Sent 16 direct mail pieces to more than 110,000 households
- Produced 4 radio ads to run all over key districts during the month of October
- More than 490 volunteer shifts completed
We anticipate a long night on Tuesday, and are prepared for an even longer period of time before we get all of the election results. Which, despite claims otherwise, is normal. Patience will be a virtue tomorrow, as will fortitude. We’re in this together and we’ll never stop fighting with you.
If you haven’t yet, return your absentee ballot or vote in person tomorrow. We’ll be checking in via email and social media as the election process continues.
You can check out our endorsed candidates here. You’ll also find voter resources there, and you can always call or email us at [email protected] if you need help or have questions.
Again, we thank you for your commitment and dedication to a brighter future for Wisconsin, and thank you for being a conservation voter,
Kerry Schumann
Executive Director

P.S. Time is running out - and your urgent gift today will help us get out the vote and push our endorsed pro-conservation leaders over the top in these final hours before Election Day. Your support now is crucial - and we can't thank you enough!
