CLCV Member,

Election Day is tomorrow. We’re finally in the home stretch. We’ve come so
far together – and I want to take a moment to thank you for inspiring me.
You’re reminding me what democracy looks like, and just how amazing it
is.

Nearly 9.1 million Californians have already voted. That’s nearly
two-thirds of likely voters. That’s almost 3 million more votes cast at
this point than in 2016. That includes over 1 million more votes from
people of color. We’ve had a 46% increase in the youth vote compared to
this same point just four years ago.

We’re seeing this everywhere, not just California. Around the country,
voters, especially young voters, are making their voices heard. We’re on
the path to have the highest turnout in history! After dealing with so
much, we’ve risen to meet this moment.

So, thank you. Your action has given us at CLCV the kind of energy and
hope we need.

Now, let’s finish strong. If you or a friend or loved one haven’t had a
chance to cast your vote, it’s definitely not too late. Drop off your
ballot at an official drop box [ [link removed] ](you can find drop box locations and
in-person voting information here.)

Thanks for that extra bit of hope.

We believe that radical change is necessary and only by transforming our political system will we create the opportunity to take bold action on climate change. We elect and cultivate environmental champions, turn election victories into policy wins, hold our lawmakers accountable, and build political power for change. We inspire hope and action and fight for equity and justice for all Californians. We are in the business of changing what’s possible.
