Dear Friend, By now you may have received your fair share of voter engagement emails, texts, and calls. To be candid, we are thankful that you may be tired of them. The outstanding level of outreach conducted by our partners, federations, and Faith in Action, represents our collective commitment to preparing you to have all the tools and information you will need to vote safely. Because of these efforts, this election we have seen a record level of mail-in ballots and early voting, better ensuring we all have a voice through our ballots. I don’t have to tell you that so many of our values are on the ballot this election year. We have heard from you directly and understand what’s at stake, not only for your own family but communities like yours and mine across the nation. In the spirit of partnership and progress, our network has conducted over one million conversations with voters so far, and we will continue to do our part well after the election is over. Can we count on you to give $25 right now? You may ask why? It’s simple. It’s very possible that many election outcomes may not be clear by election night. As such, we are planning for the many scenarios that could arise in our already divided country as the counting drags on. We need your help, not only for the work that has been accomplished and continues to pay dividends but for the post-election work that still needs to be done. Faith in Action is committed to keeping our personnel, equipment, and faith leaders stationed in communities until the end of the year, to ensure that every vote is counted and that every voter’s voice gets heard. I ask you to take a moment right now and contribute $25 as we stand with our country’s most vulnerable children and families. Never has there been a year when we have needed your support more. While 2020 has been trying, we have faith in you and we are grateful for your support. |
