Tomorrow is Election Day!

Given the historic turnout and unusual nature of voting during the COVID-19 pandemic, we may not have all results tomorrow night.

Here's how to prepare:

1) The most important thing you can do is VOTE!

• There's still time to research your ballot. We have recommendations in every race here.

2) Adopt realistic expectations

• COVID safety means that we've never seen this volume of mail-in ballots before. 
• States like Pennsylvania will take days to count all the mail-in ballots.
• The most important thing is: Every Vote is Counted.

3) Know what you're seeing

• Because polling shows Republicans are more likely to vote in-person and Democrats are more likely to vote-by-mail, early results could look like the GOP is pulling ahead. 
• This is called 'the red mirage', and the correction back to real results after mail-in-ballots are counted is being called "the blue shift"

We ARE a prochoice country, and we have all the power we need to win. But there is no winner until every vote is counted.
