Hey — Serena here. We’re officially in the final 24 hours of this election and I wanted to give you an update on our GOTV goals.
When I emailed you on Friday I mentioned we set an ambitious goal of contacting 400,00 voters during the weekend before the election. As of this morning, we’re only about two-thirds of the way to our goal — and we’re running out of time.
I just quickly did the math with my team and to reach the rest of our target audience we need to raise another $10,000 ASAP. That’s what it will cost to dial the numbers and send the texts to important swing voters we haven’t been able to reach yet who could make or break elections in critical battleground states like Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Colorado.
You wouldn’t be receiving this email if you hadn’t already proven yourself to be an important part of United We Dream Action. That’s why I’m asking for your help to make the most out of the last 24 hours of this election.
Can you rush a donation to UWDA right now? A contribution of even just $50 would allow us to text 1,000 voters that could make a difference in key battleground states. Any amount helps.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
The good news is that this incredible team is made up of hundreds of thousands of grassroots activists dedicated to fighting for the rights and lives of immigrant and undocumented communities. In fact, our team is so strong that if everyone who opened this email chipped in whatever they could, we’d clear that $10,000 goal in time to finish out our GOTV campaigns on a high note.
We can’t leave anything on the field. It’s too important and too many people are depending on us to get this right. Thanks for anything you can chip in to make this final GOTV goal a reality.
