Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is in the fight of his political life, and he has an EMILY's List woman to thank for it.

Sen. Cornyn is an 18-year incumbent. In 2014, he won his re-election with 61.6% of the vote. His Democratic challenger took only 34.4%.
