Tomorrow is Election Day, and if you’re like me, it’s hard to watch TV these days because every commercial is a political ad. From bashing people and then praising someone else, to using scare tactics, there is just so much nasty partisan politics.

Here’s what I think: Politics has no place in law enforcement. In my experience, I’ve been the Sheriff for everyone in Maricopa County, not just for those who voted for me.

I didn’t replace Arpaio’s famous Tent-City with a recidivism reduction program to spite him; I did it because I listened to the experts and members of our community about what was best for public safety in our County.

That's what a Sheriff does. They keep their community safe.

So now, with our election coming up, we need to make sure I can continue to listen to my community and keep them safe.

John, I’d get an earful from my campaign manager if I didn’t ask for you to chip into our GOTV fund leading up to Election Day. I want to continue to keep Maricopa County out of the news and not be swayed by partisan politics, but first we need to win on Tuesday.

John, can you chip in $10 to my team’s GOTV fund and help me get re-elected tomorrow?
