Donald Trump tells us he will claim victory if he has a lead Tuesday
night and will reject as illegitimate any ballots counted after November
3.

Trump has told his white supremacist militia supporters to "stand by,"
and the right-wing media is cheering him on.

A few days ago, I was convinced that we wouldn't meet our final
pre-election fundraising goal. Traffic to our website was at an all-time
high, but donations were behind the pace. We were facing the very real
possibility of having to slash our news coverage at the worst possible
time.

But in the last 48 hours, a surge of donations has put us back in
striking distance of reaching our goal.
