Good afternoon

It’s been a huge news week for assisted dying campaigners in the UK and around the world.

New Zealand voting to legalise assisted dying led to a flurry of brilliant news coverage ahead of our All-Party Parliamentary Group meeting, giving MPs even more to discuss tomorrow morning.

Remember, you can join us by tuning in to watch on our Youtube page.

When: 9am GMT tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd November)
Where: Youtube

To join simply press the link below when the event is due to begin. You'll see a thumbnail on our YouTube page with a small red box saying "LIVE" next to it. If you click on the thumbnail from 9am on Tuesday morning, the video should begin automatically. I recommend saving this link as a bookmark so it's easy to find on the day.

At the meeting, we’ll hear from former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Helen Clark, and current MP David Seymour on the success of the campaign.

We’ll also be joined by former Secretary of State for Justice, David Gauke and Emeritus Medical Director for Public Health England, Professor Paul Cosford who will explore the impact of his own diagnosis with terminal cancer on his feelings around assisted dying.

I do hope you can join us live to see this high-profile line-up in action.

See you there!

P.S. We’ve tried to make it as straightforward as possible to watch - no logging on or app-downloading required! But do let me know if you have any questions ahead of the event and I’ll try my best to help. Remember to watch live on the day.

Our campaign is powered by our supporters - like you. We’re 100% funded by individual donations, so we can keep fighting, together, to change the law on assisted dying in the UK. Could you chip in today?
