The upcoming election could shift the balance of power of the United States Senate
It’s a political question almost as important as “who will be the next president?”: Who is going to have control of the Senate?
Twelve seats currently held by Democrats and 23 by Republicans are up for reelection Tuesday night. Of those, nine races – from Arizona to Maine — are considered “toss ups" by the Cook Political Report, meaning the race is tight enough that anyone could win.
