In light of Election Day on Tuesday, not knowing what the rest of the week =
may hold, and everyone working around the clock the last couple of months, =
we have fewer action items planned this week. However, keep an eye on your =
email in case anything urgent pops up (i.e. there could be action items rel=
ated to election follow up if there are problems). And, if nothing comes up=

is Justice Barrett, the next fight on the horizon is protecting the Supreme=
Court and our constitutional liberties.

Do not forget to vote! Whether you are voting in person or you got an absen=
tee or mail-in ballot, you MUST vote! And be sure to help anyone you know t=
hat may need a ride to the polls or help finding out where to vote, or wher=
e to turn in their ballots. Text your Trump-friendly friends and family and=
ask them if they have voted yet, and if not, what you can do to help them =
get it done.

Text Messaging:
1. To get started go to: tpp.us/txt =E2=80=93 fill out the very short =
form and press the =E2=80=9CStart Texting=E2=80=9D button! We recommend usi=
ng your phone to sign up as you will be using your phone to do the text mes=

2. You will get a text message after you=E2=80=99ve signed up. Click t=
he link on your cell phone and you=E2=80=99ll be moved through the process.=
Once you send a text to the voter, go back to your browser (on your cell p=
hone) to send the next text.

Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring re=
al civics back to our children.=20
This week, we are continuing last week=E2=80=99s lesson about voting. If yo=
u didn=E2=80=99t vote last week, and you are able, take your kids or grandk=
ids with you when you vote or show them your ballot at home. =20

out our voting system. Depend on their ages, you might need to read it and =
distill the ideas into something simpler, or if they=E2=80=99re older, you =
can both read it and then discuss.
We also recommended talking about honesty and integrity and why it is so im=
portant to make sure our elections are fair and honest. This discussion may=
be especially important if your children or grandchildren are in public sc=
hools where teachers or other students are promoting universal mail-in ball=

Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring real civics back to our children.
This week, we are continuing last week’s lesson about voting. If you didn’t vote last week, and you are able, take your kids or grandkids with you when you vote or show them your ballot at home.
Last week, we recommended this article/report from The Heritage Foundation, “Preventing ‘The Tyranny of the Majority’” [[link removed]] to help you in your discussion with your kids and grandkids about our voting system. Depend on their ages, you might need to read it and distill the ideas into something simpler, or if they’re older, you can both read it and then discuss.
We also recommended talking about honesty and integrity and why it is so important to make sure our elections are fair and honest. This discussion may be especially important if your children or grandchildren are in public schools where teachers or other students are promoting universal mail-in ballots. You’ll want to make sure that your children understand why universal mail-in ballots are such a grave threat to our republic. Do not forget to vote! Whether you are voting in person or you got an absentee or mail-in ballot, you MUST vote! And be sure to help anyone you know that may need a ride to the polls or help finding out where to vote, or where to turn in their ballots. **** Make Real Civics Education a Priority Again – Week of November 2nd
Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring real civics back to our children.
This week, we are continuing last week’s lesson about voting. If you didn’t vote last week, and you are able, take your kids or grandkids with you when you vote or show them your ballot at home.
Last week, we recommended this article/report from The Heritage Foundation, “Preventing ‘The Tyranny of the Majority’” [[link removed]] to help you in your discussion with your kids and grandkids about our voting system. Depend on their ages, you might need to read it and distill the ideas into something simpler, or if they’re older, you can both read it and then discuss.
We also recommended talking about honesty and integrity and why it is so important to make sure our elections are fair and honest. This discussion may be especially important if your children or grandchildren are in public schools where teachers or other students are promoting universal mail-in ballots. You’ll want to make sure that your children understand why universal mail-in ballots are such a grave threat to our republic.
