From day one, we've run a campaign focused on bringing people together to address critical issues. We believe that politics should be about working to improve people's lives, no matter their party affiliation.

Unfortunately, in recent remarks, Bob Good made it very clear that he doesn't share those values. He talks about politics in terms of warfare. Just this week, he compared his political opponents to terrorists:

"The thing that our side has to realize is that the fight will never be over. We're in a perpetual state of battle for what matters in our country and things that we care about. Because the left -- it would be like being in the fight against Islamic Jihad. It's perpetual. It will be forever. We will fight against terrorism forever. We've got to be vigilant forever."

John, we can't believe we have to say this: it is dangerous and unacceptable for a candidate for Congress to compare people he disagrees with politically to terrorists.

Bob Good's words and approach to this campaign demonstrate that he's absolutely incapable of putting partisanship aside. It's truly a shame that he's more interested in dividing people and attacking anyone who has an honest, policy-based disagreement with him than in engaging in dialogue about the issues that matter.

VA-05 deserves a representative who's responsible, serious, and capable of bringing folks together.

The clear choice is Cameron, and we need to make the case for him during these final critical stretch. We're so close to the finish line, but we need to keep raising money to ensure our GOTV efforts are fully funded. Will you pitch in now to help us continue to reach voters?
