Dear John,
You’ve been on my mind a lot lately.
Tomorrow is a big day. And I know what’s at stake in this election—for the future of America, for your freedom, and for your children and grandchildren.
I will certainly have more to share with you about that in the coming days after we hear the results.
But for now, I wanted to take a quick moment to encourage you.
Some days, it may feel like America has reached its breaking point. We face a deeply divided nation. And there are two very different potential paths ahead of us.
But there’s hope—even in the midst of this turmoil.
In Psalm 20:7, we’re reminded that our trust should never be in chariots or horses—the things of this world. We don’t rely on political parties. Our confidence is not in presidents, but in God. And He knows exactly what is going to happen in the coming days, months, and years. He has a plan and future carved out for each and every one of us.
And God is faithful.
He has equipped Alliance Defending Freedom to be ready to fight for freedom no matter the outcome of the election (John 15:5).
With God’s continued blessing and your support, we will be there. We will be vigilant. And we will protect your freedoms on the ground.
Because make no mistake, your freedoms are on the line no matter who is in office.
On one hand, we could have a new Administration that is openly hostile to the freedoms you hold dear. On the other, we’re facing an emerging culture that rejects America’s founding principles and is growing with surprising speed and intensity. It’s a culture that does not hesitate to attack our institutions and threaten your fellow Americans with punishment for living out their faith.
But with your support, ADF will be prepared to provide a winning defense for your freedoms.
Please prayerfully consider what you can give today to ensure your God-given liberties always have a strong legal defense.
