New York Times: “The Trump campaign again tries to falsely paint votes counted after Nov. 3 as illegitimate

Nov 1, 2020

Team,

President Trump is shockingly open about his effort to undermine the election.

Trump continues to say that he hopes federal courts won’t allow states “after November 3rd, to count ballots.”

What the President is saying is just not true, not possible, and it has never been the case. No state ever reports final results on election night!

In the United States of America, we count every vote — and that typically takes days and weeks, whether Trump likes it or not.

No matter what happens on November 3rd, we are a nation of laws and that will always remain the case. We’ve held President Trump accountable to the law over the last four years and that won’t stop now.

Xavier will continue to do everything in his power to ensure your vote counts.

Onward,
