John, the outcome of the election on Tuesday is going to come down to every last vote.
That's why the Working Families Party made it our mission to turn out low and moderate propensity voters (meaning people who might or might not turn out to vote), newly registered voters, and voters who turned out no more than twice between 2008 and 2016 in critical tipping point states.
Thanks to the support of grassroots donors, we've already identified more voters who will vote for change at the polls than we did in 2016. Here's how we did it in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, by the numbers:
- Recruited and trained thousands of volunteers to mobilize voters
- More than 1 million phone calls and 1 million texts to reach voters who don't always show up
This is the final push. We have just two days left to remove Trump from office, elect progressive champions everywhere, and build the grassroots power we need to win transformative change in 2021. But our records show you haven't donated to WFP yet this year — and this is one of the last opportunities to have an impact on our GOTV organizing.
Will you make your first contribution in 2020 to help us in these final days of the election? If we can raise $10,105 by midnight tonight, we'll keep our movement strong.

We're already seeing signs of massive turnout in this election before Election Day. On Saturday, early voting in the 2020 election across the country had already reached 65.5% of 2016's total turnout.
But we still have a lot of ground to cover in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where early vote totals are slightly lagging behind the national total. Various legal challenges from Republicans who want to suppress the vote have created a lot of confusion with voters as to how long they have to get their absentee ballots in — or what to do if they haven't received an absentee ballot they requested.
We have the infrastructure to meet this moment, but we have to ensure it remains powerful enough to reach every last voter between now and when the polls close. If you can afford it, rush your first contribution toward WFP's general election GOTV fund to turn out voters, defeat Trump, and build the government we deserve next year.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
