John --
This past Tuesday, Democrat Dan McCready lost to Republican Dan Bishop in a House special election in North Carolina. Many experts say the election was a preview of what's ahead in 2020. But while Republicans are celebrating this win, we aren't feeling defeated, John. Here's why:
Dan narrowly lost to Bishop by roughly 2 percent in a district President Trump won in a landslide by over 12 percent in 2016. Dan closed an enormous gap, and although this loss is disappointing, it proves the tides are turning in the race for 2020.
You'll remember Suzan DelBene is the co-chair of the House Democrats' Frontline program -- it's her job to protect the blue majority in Congress in the most competitive districts in 2020.
We have a critical mid-month deadline on Monday night, and if we're going to defend the majority, we need to stay on track and hit our goals this month, and every month, through Election Day in 2020. Will you contribute what you can before the deadline?

There are so many new voices in the House that Suzan needs your help to protect. Dr. Kim Schrier, Rep. Lucy McBath, and Rep. Antonio Delgado, just to name a few of the dozens of new leaders working to combat gun violence, save our health care, and defend women's rights in the House every single day.
With your support, Suzan DelBene and the House majority have already accomplished so much, but there is a lot more work to do in 2020. The GOP will be combing through our FEC reports to see if Suzan's grassroots team is strong enough to win in 2020.
Every donation counts, John. Help Suzan DelBene hit our mid-month goal this month by chipping in today.
