I believe that you can measure a leader by the fights they have chosen to take on. That’s why I’m so proud to work for a strong leader like Abigail Spanberger. 

Here are a few of the ways that Abigail has fought for all of us in Congress:

• Abigail is safeguarding our healthcare system from attacks and will always protect people with pre-existing conditions
• Abigail works to curb the influence of money and mega-donors in our political system and has fought to increase transparency and accountability in Congress
• Abigail is focused on closing the digital divide, working for rural broadband internet expansion, so that our students, farmers, small businesses owners, and veterans can access the resources they need 

By no means is this list an exhaustive record of Abigail’s work, but these priorities demonstrate her values, like bringing people together to find solutions that will improve the lives of Central Virginians.

The outcome of this election could jeopardize not only the work we’ve done, but also the cooperation and bipartisanship we’ve worked so hard to build these last two years. Central Virginians have experienced hyper-partisan and extreme leaders before, and we can’t afford to go back.

Abigail will keep putting every ounce of her energy into fighting for our community and our country, but first we have to win on Tuesday.
