Hi everyone, I’m Ashley, and I’m Lauren’s Deputy Campaign Manager. Over the last two weeks I have been hitting the road, captaining our campaign van (which we call the GOTVan) all across our community.

It’s been so encouraging and inspiring to meet with supporters and voters these last few weeks, and we put together a little highlight video of our travels.

We know that elections are won and lost in the final days of a campaign. We know we have the support to win -- but right now, it’s all about making sure our supporters turn out to return their vote-by-mail ballots or make it to the polls to vote in person. 

And while we are doing plenty of modern campaigning including running TV and digital ads, sending mailers, hosting virtual events, and talking to voters on the phone, there’s something to be said for old-fashioned, boots on the ground outreach.

That’s exactly what our GOTVan achieves. And in a time of so much division and uncertainty, it’s so heartwarming to see folks’ faces light up behind their masks. :)
